About Ajahn Kien

Archan (Ajahn) Kien Wat Thonglor is one of the most famous Monk who created the most efficacious Takrut (Holy yant in plate) in South of Thailand. In olden days, most of his takruts were made for Thai military and police army.

– His popularity arose when PhraSangkaraj Somdej Yen San Wong of Wat Bowon came to know about Ajahn Kien’s waist takrut (sacred roll) from a train driver from Nakhon Sithammarat who happen to visit him at Wat Bowon, he was shaken when he was re-blessing the takrut. He felt the waist takrut was so powerful that tinkles in his hand. He then asked the train driver to bring him to Wat Thong Lor to meet up with Ajaan Kien to make waist takrut for military use. Phra Sangkaraj admitted that Ajahn Kien’s waist takrut is the best creation he has ever seen.

-There was a Thai article about a soldier being blown for a few hundred meters when stepping onto landmine but survived.  He was wearing Achan Kien’s waist string Takrut at that time. Another soldier was ambushed by a group of bandits spraying M-16 bullets directly and survived too.

This takrut is well known for high level of protection against any kind of dangers / evil , klaewklad (evade danger) & powerful effect of Maha Ut (gun refuse to shot/bomb not explode).
