This coin is considered one of the most beautifully designed coins from Phitsanulok. This coin model is known for its protective qualities, making it invulnerable to bullets and swords.

The coin was made at Wat Bang Sai by the Buddhist Association. It features Phra Phutthachinarat on the front and King Naresuan the Great performing the water ceremony on the back. The coin was created during the Emperor’s Saturday Five Great Buddha Blessing Ceremony in BE 2536 (1993), which was the second such ceremony, the first being in 1972. The 1993 ceremony was just as grand as the first, with over a hundred revered monks participating in the consecration of sacred objects in the Vihara of Luang Pho Phutthachinarat. This coin is locally known as the “Bang Sai Coin.”

This amulet of Wat Bang Sai, which was made of sacred Nawaloha metal in BE 2536 (1993), was created by Phra Khru Samut Samphao Piyavano, the abbot of Bang Sai Temple at that time.

It is also commonly known internationally as the Bang Sai Amulet of BE 2536 (1993) or the 2nd Edition Emperor Amulet of Phitsanulok. Featured in the Khao Sod newspaper on May 1 and 2, BE 2536 and in the Khao Sod newspaper on June 8, BE 2548 (2005) for its miracle story.

Colonel Khunakon Yusawasdi recounted an incident involving the miraculous power of this Phra Buddha Chinarat Amulet edition. He personally witnessed it when he was a Police Captain on duty, apprehending a hitman with his superior and subordinates. The criminal fought back, and four police officers fired numerous bullets at the criminal. Remarkably, not a single bullet hit the criminal. Eventually, they successfully captured the criminal and found he was wearing only one Phra Buddha Chinarat Emperor Amulet, Saturday 5th edition, BE 2536 (1993), made of sacred metal around his neck.

This amulet is undoubtedly considered one that protects from all dangers.

The Back Inscription: King Naresuan the Great, the savior of the Thai nation. Emperor Consecration Ceremony on Saturday, Year of the Rooster, 27th of March 1993, at the Vihara of Phra Phutthachinarat, Phitsanulok, Buddhist Association.
