Phra Somdej Kamphaeng Kaew (aka. Eight-Shaped-Legs Somdej)

Master: Luangphor Koon (aka. LP Khun Parissuddho) and LP Doo Wat Sakae

Year: BE 2519 (1976)

Material: Alpaca

This Rian Somdej was created for Wat Non Daeng, Ayutthaya province. Made of alpaca, with a handwritten inscription by Luang Por Khun. A total of only 5000 pieces were exclusively made for both in alpaca and copper materials.

According to records, Luang Phor Doo of Wat Sakae provided a large amount of sacred materials for the casting of this batch and participated in the grand blessing ceremony.

After finishing making it, LP Khun brought the Eight-Shaped-Legs Buddha amulets to Wat Sakae, where LP Doo led the chanting and blessing rituals. The chanting ceremony was exceptionally auspicious and lasted for an extended period. Once the chanting reached its peak, the amulets were brought back to Wat Nondaeng. Due to numerous miraculous events and instances of soldiers becoming invulnerable to bullets and knives while wearing these amulets, they gained immense popularity and recognition among the military at that time.

LP Khun’s renowned 2519 Eight Shaped-Legs Buddha amulet series is highly sought-after and popular. These amulets were blessed with ancient mantras focused on enhancing metta (loving-kindness) and wealth, making them excellent examples of LP Khun’s sacred creations. They have an excellent reputation for boosting interpersonal relationships and financial prosperity.
