In the end of ceremony, a senior monk tried the power of amulet. It was tested to 20++ devotees by chopping Axe in their back. This incident witnessed in front of hundreds people. This famous axe batch sold out in the day of release. Even the price not so expensive, this batch is rare and hard to find nowadays. As to continue the legacy, the similar committee release batch of khunpaen again in BE2553, but not so popular compared with original batch 2551 axe batch.

🚩About Khunpaen Wat Palelai BE2551
Phra Khun Paen made and consecrated in B.E.2551 (C.E.2008) at Wat Palelai Worawihan, Suphanburi.
Wat Palelai is a very famous temple built more than 800 years ago. It is situated in Suphanburi, not far away from Wat Bang Krang. Both temples are famed for their ancient Phra Khun Paen amulets.
This Phra Khun Paen was made from ancient sacred soil that was taken from the old pagoda where the ancient amulet Phra khun Pean in Suphanburi were found.
Three grand consecration ceremonies were conducted for these Phra Khun Paen amulets with many top guru monks invited.
First ceremony was on 27 August BE2551 at Wat Palelai.
Second ceremony was on 30 September BE2551 at Wat Palelai in LP Toh’s pavilion
Third one was on 9 October BE2551 at Wat Sanamchai in Suphanburi province.
