The Wat Thalung Thong Chedi, a beautifully constructed pagoda, was built between 1987 and 1989. Commissioned by Por Than Kling (Luangphor Kling), it serves as a place of Buddhist worship, and a memorial to Luangphor Kling, the previous abbot of Wat Thalung Thong. Luangphor Kling was 104 years old when he passed away, and his corpse did not decay. This place is a repository for his incorrupt body, enshrined in a glass coffin on the second floor.
