“The rarest phim in the 2497 Putthapiset batch”

This amulet has an image of Buddha in an unusual and unique “Kwak” pose.

According to this blog: https://thaitemplestrip.blogspot.com/2016/03/ , This Phra Buddha Kwak with the axe-like symbol on the back has the least quantity created in the 2497 Putthapiset ceremony batch and is not commonly seen. The Size is relatively small piece which is suitable for ladies and children. It symbolizes the Buddha-fetching wealth.

Phra Buddha Kwak was made by Archan Chum, for collecting fund to renovate Wat Phra Baromathat, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province, under the initiation of Chao Khun Phra Pattaramunee, the abbot of Wat Phra Baromatha and also the Head monk of Southern Thailand.

At least 108 amulets and 108 types of medicinal herbs, magical powders were melted together, from a 1000 years old sacred powder of Wat Khao-or, the 2497 left-over powder of Wat Changhai, sacred powder ground from 108 Thai temples, Leklai from sacred cave at Khao Or, khun paen amulet Yod Kun Pon from Lp Kong, Phra Somdej amulet, phra khunpaen of Wat ban krang, phra rod, phra nang phaya, etc.

The Putthapiset ceremony was held on September 14, year BE 2497. At least 108 top monks of entire Thailand were invited for the blessings, together with 100+ White robe Ajahn Kalawat headed by Archan Chum.

Archan Chum is the greatest White magic sorcerer in Thai history. When Archan Chum was about 5 years old, he was able to cast a spell to hypnotize a cobra (snake) and to stop the snake from opening its mouth. He was also able to cast spells to lock the jaws of the dogs to prevent them from biting.

The notable Ajahn KhunPaen was also invited and participated in the ceremony.  The blessing ceremony lasted 4 weeks.
