♨️PHRA THA MAPRANG KRU SAMPHASI

This Amulet looks similar to Phra Tha Maprang of the northern provinces and was made of clay.  The amulet discovery was actually not found inside Wat Sampasiu. But it was discovered nearby in that area. In the past, Lopburi art Buddha statues were unearthed several times in the south near Wat Sampasiu. Later, Mr. Dee, whose house was north of Wat Sampasiu Digging up land near the fence of his house, they found many clay amulets.

The Buddha amulet found was made of terracotta, rather rough, with gravel and sand mixed in the Buddha amulet. There are some that are quite fine in texture. The print found is Phra Tha Maprang. The Buddha’s appearance is similar to that of Phra Tha Maprang in general. Found in the provinces of Phitsanulok, Kamphaeng Phet and Sukhothai.

The reason why it is called Phra Kru Wat Sampa Siu is when someone asks where it is. From observing the excavations, old amulets are often found on the ground. There were no pagodas or other ancient sites at all. which may have decayed and damaged long ago. It is assumed that this area should have been a community since the Lopburi period. Because almost all Buddha images were found from the Lopburi period. Later, Tha Maprang amulets and Phra Sum Nakhon Kosa were found again. The age of the amulet is probably around the late Sukhothai period.

Phra Kru Wat Sampa Siu stands out for its invincibility, good fortune and protection from danger. Moreover, Metta Maha Niyom is also good. At present, the real Phra Kru Wat Sampasiu It’s starting to be hard to find.
