Ajahn Fan is a senior student of Ajahn Mun from the Dhammayut Forest Monk sect and is known as a charismatic teacher and is liked by many other junior students. He is also the teacher of the Head of the Thai Sangha Somdet Nyanasamvara.

Known to have high meditation powers and deep concentration. Ajahn Fan is often invited to bless amulets made with the aim of raising funds to build towns, schools and roads.
