About LP Sim Wat Tham Pa Plong

Luangphor Sim Buddhacaro was senior disciple of Ajahn Mun Buridatto (Forest Monk tradition lineage) and popular for his teaching in Dhamma & meditation practices. LP Sim wanted to practice meditation in very silent place so he chose “PhaPlong Cave” in Chiangmai Province and stayed there until he passed away. When he passed away and cremated, his body left behind many relics as a sign of the monk’s attainment of holiness. When he passed away and cremated, even the King and Queen came from the Krungthep (capital) specifically to pay their last respects to LP Sim.
