🚩About Ajahn Chah Wat Nongpanong
– Ajahn Chah is one of Thailand’s Great Arahant (the highest achievement of a monk in Buddhism) and very respected by many thai people. As a direct disciple of the Great Ajahn Mun Buridatto (#1 Dhammayut Monk – forest monk tradition), AjahnChah is famous for his Dhamma teaching and often invited to give a lecture in many events. There were many famous western monks learned under AjahnChah, such as AjahnSumedho, AjahnBrahm, etc.
– AjahnChah passed away with the relic in his cremation. This is a condition for those who attained arahant / nibbana (the highest achievement of a monk in Buddhism)
– Even though WatNongpanong didn’t create any holy object/amulet, but on many occasions with good purposes such as building a road to the temple, hospital for poor, etc. His disciple asks AjahnChah for blessing the holy object/amulet for fundraising.
