Unfortunately, these venerable monks have all passed away. However, there is a contemporary monk who has inherited and preserved their sacred knowledge and powers, maintaining the same level of mystical potency. He is considered the most precious gem of the Mae Klong River basin today.
This highly revered monk is Luang Phor Maha Surasak Atisakkho, the abbot of Wat Pradu. Many people who have visited him and sought blessings have unanimously stated that they have never encountered a monk as kind and welcoming to people of all social classes. After listening to his Dharma talks and teachings, many have experienced positive changes in their lives, found enlightenment, and achieved success in their careers. Their families and loved ones have also benefited significantly.
Phra Maha Surasak Atisakkho is the abbot of Wat Pradu Royal Monastery and also the head monk of the district where the temple is located, in Amphawa, Samut Songkhram province. He is 63 years old now and has been a monk for 41 years.
Born in 1961, he completed his secondary education and displayed a talent for art and sculpture. Ordained as a novice monk in 1976 at Wat Pacchanataram Temple, Samut Sakhon province, he later became a fully ordained monk in 1983. He has a deep understanding of Buddhist teachings and has been actively involved in various religious activities.
Phra Maha Surasuk has studied various esoteric practices from many respected teachers, including astrology, tattooing (sakyant), amulets, and meditation. He has created numerous amulets and talismans, which are believed to bring good fortune, protection, and prosperity.
Phra Maha Surasuk is highly respected for his knowledge of astrology, architectural design, and his ability to deliver inspiring sermons. He was appointed as the abbot of Wat Pradu in 1991 and has received numerous honors and titles throughout his career.
