Luang Pho Nu Kesaro (Phra Khru Methee Tham Sathok / หลวงพ่อหนู เกสโร) of Wat Bueng Phra Achan, Nakhon Nayok Province, was a highly respected monk. His preceptor was Luang Pho Chad of Wat Bang Krabao, and he was a direct disciple of the legendary sorcerer Ajahn Fon Deesawang. People in Nakhon Nayok, particularly around Wat Bueng Phra Achan and Wat Bang Nam Priao, deeply revered and had immense faith in Luang Pu Nu.
During his time, he saved countless villagers who were bitten by venomous snakes. Wat Bueng Phra Achan, while he was alive, almost resembled a hospital, as many suffering individuals would come daily to seek his help. Luang Pho Nu provided assistance impartially, showing compassion to everyone, including the many Thai Muslims living in the area.
Villagers often requested small snake tattoos on their wrists, believing they would protect them from snake bites. Luang Pu Nu’s abilities were renowned. Even Phra Ajahn Prakong once remarked, “Luang Pu Nu is incredibly powerful and skilled. I visited him, but by then, he was already very old.” His extraordinary abilities included performing miracles such as summoning sacred powder from Somdet Toh’s era. He reportedly used an empty tray covered with a white cloth, chanting and meditating until the sacred powder appeared and filled the tray—an incredible testament to his spiritual prowess.
Luang Pho Nu created very few sacred amulets, making them rare and highly sought after. Those who possess them, particularly followers of Ajahn Fon, often keep them quietly treasured.
