Welcome to our store Uncle Chow Amulet Gallery
Luang Phor Pae was born in BE 2448, Singburi province, Thailand and started learning Pali at the tender age of 11 under Arjan Pan and Arjan Pom in Wat PikulThong. After 2 years, he moved to Bangkok to further his studies under Prah Arjan Som before returning to Wat PikulThong at 16 to be ordained as a Novice.
After passing all the relevant exams and serving diligently at the temple, he was appointed as the abbot at the very young age of 26, BE2474. 6 years later, with the help of Luang Phor See of Wat Praphrand, he chanted his first batch of amulets to help finance re-construction of the temple.
There was a particular batch of amulet created by Luang Phor Pae in BE2517. It was known as the rainbow Phra Somdej Than Saem BE2517. International Superstar Jackie Chan wore it during filming. At that time, an accident occurred and Jackie Chan fell down from the clock tower. Miraculously, the Superstar only sustained minor scratches. As a result, some collectors would call this batch of amulet “Phra Somdej BE2517 Phim Jackie Chan”.
During the past, there were many young children whose parents could not afford to raise them or send them to schools. Luang Phor Pae, as an abbot of Wat PikulThong, took in all children that needed help. He raised them up and provided education for them. Luang Phor Pae also taught the young children in schools when he was staying in Wat Rakang temple in his younger days.
Luang Phor Pae’s amulets are kept by many Thais especially in Singburi and Bangkok areas because they respected him a lot for the things that he have done for them, especially the young children that grew up to adults, they also kept many of his amulets as a respect to their teacher who cared for them since young. Luang Phor Pae also created many batches of Phra Somdej and other holy amulets for fund raising to the hospitals, charitable works like building of roads, schools and also the help to the elderly.
Luang Phor Pae’s Phra Somdej amulets are highly efficacious as he had succeed in using the Chinnabanchon Katha to bless them. Many wearers experienced the strong effect of Metta Maha Niyom when they wore it because of the Chinnabanchon Katha. There are many successful people and businessmen wearing the Pae Sorng Pan or Pae Sam Pan felt the similar effects too.
Whenever Luang Phor Pae starts to prepare for the consecration of his amulets, Luang Phor Pae will always go to Wat Mai alone (a temple near to Wat Rakang) for paying respect and connect spiritually with Somdej Phra Buddhacharn Toh and he will meditate there for many days without food and water before going back to start his consecration ceremony at Wat PikulThong.
Luang Phor Pae passed away in BE2542, at the age of 94. He had spent more than 70 years in monk hood. A commemorative funeral service was held at Wat PikulThong under the patronage of the Thai Royal Family and several other dignitaries.
With great merits, Luang Phor’s fame continued to spread to all parts of the world even after he passed away for more than 10 years. Good Cause (Amulets are created to help people in need), Good Blessings (Chinnabunchorn Blessings) & A Good Teacher (Luang Phor Pae), I think the above are some of the reasons why we treasure Luang Phor’s amulets so much.
