The process of creating the GumanThong by Luang Pu Yam followed the complete formula and components of the materials used in the creation as taught by his master, Luang Phor Tae. These materials are all considered mystical substances, such as earth from 7 graveyards, earth from 7 caves, earth from 7 salt licks, earth from 7 riverbanks, earth from 7 termite mounds, earth from 7 markets, earth from 7 city centers,  earth from 7 rice fields, clay from the boundary markers of 7 temples, children’s hair, ashes from children’s bones, and ashes from the cremation sites of 7 famous individuals. These were mixed together to form the sacred material for creating the GumanThong.

Once the materials were prepared, sacred inscriptions were carved on the entire figure. Then, Luang Pu Yam would perform a solitary blessing and meditation for 7 consecutive days, focusing on specific powerful days, such as Saturday and Tuesday. Namo Tassa Bhagavato Arahato Samma Sambuddhassa (Recite 3 times)

I offer worship to the Buddha, Dhamma, and Sangha. May the benefits of my worship be bestowed upon me. I humbly pay my respects to the GumanThong and invite it to manifest in my eyes, mind, and body. May the merit I have accumulated throughout countless lifetimes bring me prosperity. May fortune come to me from all eight directions every day without fail, just like the GumanThong itself. May I receive wealth, good fortune, success in business, and protection for my home from all dangers.
