Luang Phor Dam of Wat Mai Naparam (Nopparam) was a highly revered monk known for his spiritual prowess and the powerful amulets he created. He is widely considered the true heir to the sacred Wicha (magical knowledge) of Tok Raja (Luang Por Kron) of Wat Bangsaek, even though he was a second-generation disciple. Their close relationship was forged by the proximity of LP Dam’s temple to the Malaysian border, which allowed him to closely follow and inherit Tok Raja’s teachings.
Luang Phor Dam’s amulets are especially sought after, particularly in Malaysia and Singapore. These amulets were made using the exact same sacred powders and inscriptions as those of Tok Raja, making them highly desirable as they are believed to carry the powers of both masters. Given the extreme rarity and high cost of Tok Raja’s original amulets, Luang Por Dam’s creations have become a very popular alternative for collectors.
Beyond his amulets, Luang Por Dam was celebrated for his extraordinary abilities, including mind-reading. Luang Por Dam was appointed abbot of Wat Mai Nopparam in BE2518 (Buddhist Era) and was respected for his strict adherence to meditation and discipline, which were believed to be the source of his supernatural powers. He passed away on December 3, 2551 BE, at the age of 67, leaving behind a lasting spiritual legacy through his teachings and revered amulets.
