This small Phra Somdej is strongly blessed by Venerable Ajahn Chah Wat Nongpanong. In front of the amulet, there is a Buddha image in Bodhi Leaf background. At the bottom, we can clearly see 2 Sarika Birds images. This Somdej was made of 108 sacred herbs (Wahn) and also ChanMak (chewed betel nuts of LP Chah). This betelnut is believed to be a sacred object because LP Chah always chews it while praying and chanting.

🚩About Ajahn Chah Wat Nong Pah Pong

Ajahn Chah is one of Thailand’s Great Arahants (the highest achievement of a monk in Buddhism) and is very respected by many Thai people. As a direct disciple of the Great Ajahn Mun Buridatto (#1 Dhammayut Monk – forest monk tradition), Ajahn Chah is famous for his Dhamma teaching and is often invited to give a lecture at many events. There were many famous western monks who learned under Ajahn Chah, such as Ajahn Sumedho, Ajahn Brahm, etc.

Ajahn Chah passed away with the relic in his cremation. This is a condition for those who attained arahant / nibbana (the highest achievement of a monk in Buddhism)

Even though Wat Nong Pah Pong didn’t create any holy objects or amulets, on many occasions with good purposes such as building a road to the temple, a hospital for the poor, etc, his disciple asked Ajahn Chah to bless the holy object/amulet for fundraising.
