Phra Phrom Uncut-wing lead coins
Master: Luangphor Chamnan
Temple: Wat Bangkutitong (Wat Bang Kudi Thong), Mueang Pathum Thani District, Pathum Thani.
Year : BE 2556
This Rian Phra Phrom amulet was made and consencrated by LP Chamnan in BE 2556 (2013) when he was still the abbot of Wat Bang Kudi Thong (Bangkutitong), that’s why it’s more valuable than his current amulets. The metal is still uncut, which makes it unique.
The biography of Phra Mongkolwaropkarn, also known as “Luang Por Chamnan Uttamapanyo,” the abbot of Wat Chinwararam Worawihan, a royal temple in Mueang District, Pathum Thani Province, goes as follows:
His birth name was Chamnarn Phanwa, born on Sunday, the 15th waxing moon of the 3rd lunar month, in the Year of the Rat, on January 30, 1972, in Bang Kadi, Mueang Pathum Thani District, Pathum Thani Province. He was ordained as a novice on Saturday, the 14th waxing moon of the 8th lunar month, in the Year of the Tiger, on July 19, 1986, at Wat Bang Luang in Bang Luang Subdistrict, Mueang Pathum Thani District, Pathum Thani Province. He was fully ordained as a monk on Sunday, the 14th waxing moon of the 7th lunar month, in the Year of the Monkey, on April 19, 1995, at Wat Bangkudi Thong in Bang Kadi Subdistrict, Mueang Pathum Thani District. His preceptor was Phra Sumethaporn of Wat Bang Luang, his chanting teacher was Phra Kru Pathumthammanusit of Wat Bangkudi Thong, and his instruction teacher was Phra Kru Pathumsutthakhun of Wat Sanglan.
Luang Por Chamnarn is regarded as a renowned monk in Pathum Thani and is highly respected in the present era. He is known for his disciplined practice, graceful conduct, and great kindness toward his disciples. He was taught by Luang Pu Surin Rewato (a disciple in the lineage of Phra Ramanmuni of Wat Bang Luang), the former abbot of Wat Bangkudi Thong. Luang Por Chamnarn, of Mon heritage, inherited the esoteric teachings of Phra Ramanmuni. Since he was a novice, he studied under many teachers, both monks and laypeople, learning from ancient scriptures passed down by his mentors. He became proficient in Khmer script, the Mon language, and various ancient magical spells and mantras.
Previously, he held the position of abbot at Wat Bangkudi Thong. In 1996, he undertook the restoration of the entire temple, constructing many permanent structures that still stand magnificently today. He also supported the education of monks, novices, and lay students, regularly providing scholarships. On December 25, 2015, he received the royal command from the Supreme Patriarch to take the position of abbot at Wat Chinwararam, the first royal temple in Pathum Thani.
